Revenue Restrictions.
To keep Gaea pricing equitable, the editions are restricted by the following annual revenue or capital tiers.
- Indie: up to USD 100K.
- Professional: up to USD 1M.
- Enterprise: over USD 1M.
Upgrades.
You can upgrade to a higher edition any time by simply paying the price difference. There are no penalties.
Existing Gaea 1.0 users can upgrade here for a 30% discount.
No Refunds.
All purchases are strictly non-refundable.

Internet Activation.
All Gaea licenses require an internet connection to activate. Offline activation is available for Enterprise licenses only.

Floating Licenses
Deploy securely and effortlessly.
Floating licenses for Gaea will be available by the end of 2024, providing both cost savings and flexibility for your team. Floating licenses allow you to install Gaea on multiple machines, but only use the software on a limited number of machines at the same time. This is ideal for teams that need to share licenses across multiple users or machines.

01. Is Gaea subscription-based?
No. Gaea licenses are perpetual. No subscriptions or hidden fees. Support, maintenance, and minor updates are free. Major version upgrades, such as from Gaea 1.x to 2.x, require a paid upgrade.
02. Do I need to pay a maintenance fee?
No. Maintenance, support, and minor updates are included at no additional cost.
03. Can I use Gaea for free?
Yes. You can use the Community Edition for non-commercial purposes without a paid license.
04. What is the revenue limit for the Indie Edition?
The Indie Edition is restricted to individuals or entities with annual gross revenue or capital under US$100,000.
05. Can I use the Professional Edition for my business?
Yes, provided your annual gross revenue or capital does not exceed US$1,000,000.
06. Can I upgrade my license to a higher edition?
Yes. You can upgrade your Gaea 2.0 license to a higher edition by paying the price difference. There are no penalties for upgrading.
07. Is there a loyalty discount for upgrading from Gaea 1 to Gaea 2?
Yes. Gaea 1 users can upgrade to Gaea 2 with a 30% loyalty discount.
08. Can I still purchase Gaea 1?
No. Gaea 1 is no longer available for sale. Contact Support for information on legacy versions.
09. What payment methods are supported?
The store accepts major credit cards and offers payment installment options through Klarna. PayPal is no longer supported.
10. Can I get a refund for my purchase?
No. All purchases are strictly non-refundable. Try the free Community Edition before purchasing to ensure it meets your needs.
11. Is there any warranty for Gaea?
No. The software is provided "as is" without any warranties. QuadSpinner is not liable for damages or losses caused by using the software.
